Registration groups and audit rules as at October 2026, from NDIS Commission sources. Check your own scope of audit in the NDIS Commission Portal.
What is behind the result.
- Lower-risk supports are generally assessed by a verification audit, a desktop review of documents and records.
- Higher-risk supports such as personal care, community participation and SIL need certification, which includes a site visit and interviews.
- Some supports add supplementary modules, for example high intensity supports, behaviour support or SIL.
Based on the NDIS rules and registration groups as published. Your scope of audit from the NDIS Commission is the final word.
